I'm Hanging Up Now

Blur and magic wand ftw.

I made this when Dad wanted iPhone wallpaper of John with his hoity toity iPhone 3G, the phone that makes him spit at the regular iPhone owning riff raff such as Dad and I.

This is the image before I reduced it to iPhone dimensions. I drew John as he looks when I've observed him talking to a certain someone. A certain someone that shall remain anonymous for the sake of his and my well being.

Bird's Eye View

Why have I never used the magic wand and gradient tools before?

I think Hopper's gonna be my go to guy from now on in these comics. All the other animals in my town are coming and going, so there isn't any reason to put much attention on them. But I like Hopper, so he's staying. I'd also like Peanut and any robot characters to move in too, in which case I'd also give them more attention and more roles. I heard there's a robot frog. I'm gonna change his catch phrase to "affirmative."

Finally, robotic frogs rule the world.

Bug, Eyes

I have nightmares about those eyes.

I feel heartache and disappointment that Blathers is no longer fixated on how one should prepare and eat the fish that you donate to the museum. Those were some of the funniest speeches in the last game. I guess Nintendo figured that's Chip the fishing tourney judge's shtick now. But he's got no finesse! He just eats it raw! Then he burps!

*Studio audience laughter*

No, it's not that funny! Blathers went into great detail on how each individual fish should be consumed. Now that was funny.

I Know a Human Boy About Your Age

If he's not sleeping, he's forgetting.

Tortimer, Tom, the Able Sisters. They're in every player's town, yet they have the same name and say and do the same things. Are they all the same person? We can't assume one player's town goes on as if other towns don't exist, because you can travel to other towns. Towns that also have Tortimer, Tom, etc. So are there several of these characters? If so, do they know about their clones living in other towns? If the Tom Nook in my town of Pastel ran into the Tom Nook of Beth's town of Sydney, would they be all like, "Hey good lookin'," and think nothing of it? Or would they be both amazed and terrified that there is a living double of themselves, gather all the other Nooks from all the Animal Crossing towns in the world, and start a horrible Planet of the Tom Nook's?! In my opinion, almost certainly yes.

Phillip runs out the door and screeches away in his car.

Fast Food Franchises Aint S#@*

Headline: Man Yells at Clown

I found out by accident that Tom can go back to previous versions of his shop depending on how you answer a certain question. Does anybody find that useful? I don't see why you wouldn't want to keep the bigger shop with more stuff to buy. And what about Timmy and Tommy? Were they fired because Tom didn't need them in a smaller store? Will I have to go through the rest of my life with this horrible guilt, knowing that because of my answer to Tom's vague question I've put two upstanding tanukis, who've bared no ill will to anyone, out of job, a job that was most likely their only source of income? Will this weeping of burning tears of culpability never cease?

Nah, I'm sure they'll be fine.
