¡Que Curiosidad!

John: JESUS CHRIST IT'S LUIS GET IN THE CAR

This was made at the at the request of Luis, a friend and coworker of my brother, after he saw what I did to John. Luis is of Puerto Rican origin, and I swear it was his request to draw him as a ridiculously stereotypical Hispanic. Please don't send hate mail or post comments sayin' I'm an insensitive, racist prick. I may be the other two things, but I ain't no racist.

But feel free to call me a cracker-@$s honkey.

Jade Chan

The "Chan" can be read either as her last name or as the Japanese honorific suffix. It works quite well either way.

Pay no attention to the practice eye in the top left corner.

Okay, we're goin' way back now. It was at least as far back as 2005 when I drew these (again, in my mini sketchbook at work), which seems like several hundred years ago to me.

Does anybody remember Jackie Chan Adventures? That was a d@mn good show. Cartoons based off of real life celebrities have, in my opinion, a bad history (Camp Candy, whatever that MC Hammer show was called). But a few were quite good, namely the more recent Class of 3000 and Jackie Chan adventures.

Anyway, Jade was Jackie's (assumed) fictional niece. She's your typical young, spunky, female cartoon heroine, but I like her the most out of any other characters I can think of that fit that description. Probably cuz of the hoodie. And her hair. Females with short, dark hair always get to me.

Eh, Bee, Sees, Part 2

Tell me what you think of me.

Same as the last eh, bee, sees post, now with H through N. None of these were particularly interesting in my opinion. And the H is rather sucky. Maybe all my good ones were in A through G. So maybe I shoulda posted these in the reverse order.

On second thought, saying the alphabet backwards is really hard. It's fine as is.

Utterly Awesome

Finally! A female character that isnt' a sheep.

Peanut is hands-down my favorite girl character in Animal Crossing. She's just the cutest of them all. No contest.

I honestly wish that you had the ability in the game to beg animals that you meet in the city to move into your town. That way I could of already had Peanut, robot frogs, living teddy bears, and ninja rabbits in Pastel.

Midna

And some metal ring binders.

This is a sketch I did a couple of days ago at work. I love Midna, and that's probably the only reason that Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game. If she weren't in it, my favorite would still be Link's Awakening.

She seems to be using her hair/third hand to... catch herself? Which is kinda redundant since she can float. Whatever, I just needed to draw something at the bottom half of the page to fill up the empty space. And don't get me started on her needlessly detailed head piece!

Eh, Bee, Sees

Next time, won't you sing with me?

I totally forgot about posting stuff I made in college. So here are these things. This is from way back in my Design class I had in my first semester. We had to take pictures of stuff that resembled a letter of the alphabet. We needed every letter, either all lower case or all upper case, all cropping had to be done when the picture was taken, not later on any software, and all "letters" had to be taken as is, as no setup was allowed. In other words, total hell.

But it came out alright in the end. Some are definitely better than others, but there are a few gems. My teacher, Drew, said he found the B to be most interesting of my pictures. I guess I concur.

Since I don't wanna wait forever for all the letters to load, I'm gonna break them up into four posts. I know you're dieing to see the rest of them, but be patient.

J00 Get That Rash Looked At?

Screw the blur tool. Smudge tool ftw.

Yet another week without a comic, as Mom wanted me to do an iPhone drawing of myself as I did with John the week before last. She sez that she's gonna make some scrapbook pages with them or something.

So... uh... yeah. There'll probably be a comic next week.

"Riot of the Blood" Fight

GET OUT LEONA IM FIGHT

No comic this week, as I was working on this to enter the fan art contest at the King of Fighters XII website. Winning something would be nice, but this was really more of an excuse to make a more detailed Photoshop pic. Not great, but pretty good.

I actually don't know a whole lot about the King of Fighters games, but I do own a few of them, and I know that Iori is awesome. I also know that him and another fighter named Leona can go crazy for whatever reason, and their eyes start glowing and they become all barbaric and whatnot. That seemed interesting enough, so that's what I drew.

Here's the original sketch that I used as the foundation and the line art, which I'm particularly proud of. I thought I would screw it up by adding color.

And finally, here's a big version incase you wanted to see the individual bits of dirt or the bane of my existence, the light gray halo around parts of the line art.

Criminals

He's packin' net, with his punk @$s.

It took me forever to draw the background in the second panel, and it still looks feh. I'm gonna get good at this one of these days.

It's kinda funny that the tool that would do the least amount of damage in real life is the only one that you can hit people or animals with in the game. I tend to use a bug net on neighbors that get in my way when I'm trying to get money out of rocks or running from bees. I also use it in the game.
